Hi, I’m Jessica! (she/her)

I’m passionate about supporting people with ADHD because I personally know what it’s like. I’ve struggled to make my goals a reality, I’ve seemed successful on the outside while struggling to keep it together internally, I’ve experienced the isolation of not knowing other people with brains like mine, and I’ve had the internal shame that comes with living in a society that isn’t set up for me. I’ve also been able to work towards my goals with more confidence, unmask so I can be myself with others and form more meaningful relationships, ease my overwhelm by building systems that work for my unique brain, and move towards self-compassion and appreciation for all the positive parts of being an ADHDer.

I also love working with anxiety. I understand how much anxiety can impact daily life. It can make simple things like watching a movie, running into the store, or even spending time with loved ones feel draining and like a chore. You may be doing something that should feel relaxing and saying to yourself, “Why can’t I just relax? What’s wrong with me?”. I’ve experienced the struggles of this kind of anxiety and I’ve also experienced what it’s like to feel relief from it. I want you to feel this relief as well because you deserve it!

Meet The Office Manager

Meet Sylas, our 4-legged friendly office manager and support. He can usually be found sleeping on the job, keeping watch through the window, or popping up in the background on occasion to say hello. As you can see, Grow Like Sunflowers Counseling loves animals. Feel free to bring your pet to virtual therapy with you, especially if you find it helpful.

I’m so excited to support you! If you’re ready to get started, I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to ensure it feels like a good fit for both of us. You’re also welcome to skip the consult and schedule an intake.
