What ADHD Therapy Look Like?

More Understanding

We’ll discuss the ways that ADHD shows up in your life. You’ll develop more understanding of your own experience & I’ll also offer some education and resources that may be helpful.

Self-Compassion

There can be a lot of shame, guilt, and self-criticism for ADHDers. I’ll support you with processing those feelings and moving towards a more self-compassionate place.

Skill Building

Executive functioning can be very challenging with ADHD. I’ll help you build skills & systems that help you live your life and reach your goals with more ease.

Self-Advocacy

It’s common for ADHDers to struggle with people pleasing and over-extending themselves. I’ll help you develop more confidence with self-advocacy and boundary setting to help mitigate this.

Unmasking

Masking (suppressing parts of yourself that you’re worried will be judged/misunderstood) is very common for ADHDers. Masking can protect you & it can also hold you back. I’ll help you learn to unmask when it may be helpful.

Building Connections

Because of masking and the challenges of ADHD, it can be hard for ADHDers to build fulfilling relationships in which they can be their authentic selves. I’ll help you work towards building community.

You deserve to feel relief from the challenging parts of ADHD & to access the best parts of being an ADHDer.
